Hard to Impress, but I'm Impressed!
I needed to consolidate. Donate my Printer, Scanner, and Fax machines to charity and purchase an All in One to save space and reduce clutter and wires.
Coulda been 5 stars
Just picked this up after being scared away by the reviews of the (more expensive) 7x10 series. So far, I have been extremely impressed.Very smooth setup, wireless is WONDERFUL (using on 3 PCs with 3 different OS), very nice print quality (with decent paper) very good (but not as good as my Kodak printer) photo printing. We'll see about ink usage, since that seems to be the profit center these days.
Excellent inexpensive
I needed to replace a number of my single-use devices with AiO and unclutter my desk real estate. I decided on HP because a single quality of HP cartridges: the printer may be off line for quite long time, and when one needs it, just turn it on and voila. It prints without hesitation. My first color printer from Epson, every time upon turning on, used to start long process of heads cleaning, using up half of the cartridges capacity just for cleaning. Still quality of prints was far below expectation. HP cartridges are ready to print this very moment when you need them.

Not what it's cracked up to be
I bought this so I could print wireless from my laptop, it didn't work. I called Hp tech support and after 45 min they couldn't get it to work either and explained I would only be able to print not use bidirectional scanning from the printer to scanner and suggested I return it. I bought it through amazon but it was shipped from Tech Depot an affiliated company of Office Depot and they said since I opened it that I could not return it. How was I supposed to know it wouldn't work without opening, I won't shop from office depot or Tech depot again.

Great Camera
A much better digital camera than the r707. The image quality is as good as the hp945 without the bulk.It will fully satisfy the average photographer.I use it for grabbing great detail for online auction pics.It takes decent pics inside too.I am satisfied with this camera and would buy another.
Screen problem
I purchased two of these Cameras at Christmas 2005. By May one of the Screens stopped working. By July the second camera's screen stopped working. I don't know what the problem is. We love the pictures it takes and its ease but are unhappy about the screen problem.
Three Cameras
Bought a HP R707 for my daughter along with a Kodak digital camera for my other daughter Christmas 2004. Both took great pictures but the Kodak buttons were difficult to use. HP R707 was very easy to use in comparision. The R707 was stolen, oops,(aboard the USS Kennedy CV-67)and we replaced it with a R717. Still a great camera. I used it until my daughter took it back to her ship. I liked it so much I bought another one for myself. Using a tripod this took excellent night photos. As noted by the other reviewer, flash takes a couple seconds to charge, and processing photos takes a few seconds however the Burst feature worked fast. The viewfinder feature was essential to me buying this camera instead of the R817 that did not have that feature.

Poor Quality
I've had my ipod mini for approximately a year and a half. My menu button and volume control have stopped working.I just went to the Apple Store in Oak Brook, IL and apparently the ipod's only have a one year warranty. At the store they confirmed that "yes your ipod is broken, so you have two choices."
I love my mini
I got my iPod mini about a year ago and it has been working amazingly for me ever since. One of the reasons I love it is that I'm a huge clutz and I drop my stuff all the time. I don't keep it in a case ever, and I have dropped it from five feet and it has not even scarched. Of course, I don't drop it on purpose, it just happens. I particularly don't need a color screen. My black and white screen displays the song I am listening to fine and if you want, you can turn on the backlight. Many of my friends have iPod Nanos, but I don't actually see how they're SO much better than the minis. You can see the little album picture next to the song title, so what? If I really wanted a cool new iPod, I would most definitely get an iPod video. All of my friends who have nanos always keep their iPods in cases so they don't break, but I don't need to. With a nano I would be too afraid that I would crush it... It sits in my pocket comfortably, I don't have to worry about it while I'm moving around. Unlike many people, I download plenty of music from the music store and I love it. I don't like leaving my house, going to the store, and buying a CD for one sone that I actually like. The only problem with this iPod is that the backlight goes off if you don't do anything to the iPod, but it's fine. iPod minis are, in my opinion, better than nanos.

Hub works great and is good value.
Firewire/USB 2.0 hub works perfectly with my1999 G4 Sawtooth Mac running Panther. (USB 2.0 card added in addition to a lot of other upgrades.) If you are not esthetically offended by the Compaq logo on the hub, you will be a happy camper. This hub comes with the usb 2.0 and firewire cables included. The inclusion of the cables constitutes a significant savings. Comparable hubs do not include the cables which are pretty expensive to buy.
Works great, but it's really a 6 port hub (2 firewire ports)
I've got several firewire devices that interact with my powerbook, including a backup drive, an ipod, a camera reader, and often networking between two computers over firewire. I shopped around amazon looking for more firewire ports and a few extra USB slots (mouse, printer, ipod shuffle, etc all take up ports).

Starry Eyed Over This One, But Lets Me Down
Upon the joyful news that we were having a girl, my husband decided to invest in a new digital camera and a photo printer. The digital camera still works great--the printer is another matter. While this one prints beautiful pictures, the cost of ink far outweighs the beauty of them sometimes.
Great photos BUT ...
Yes, it has excellent quality photos - worth the slow printing to get - not really all that slow.BUT . . . I have had to re-install the software several times in the year or so that I have owned it - fickle.AND now, without warning, the printer now needs repair - no abuse to it, no special printing - just one day decided to malfunction.HP on-line technician says it is internal hardware problem and I will have to pay to get it fixed.HA! costs more to repair than replace, but reliability on this hasn't been all that great in my HP experiences with several printers.Troubleshooting guides not that great, doesn't go into a lot of the problems.Got a paper jam? Yeah, that's covered in the troubleshooting. But receive a special error code on the LCD display? Nah, can't let the customer know what that code means...So, if you can buy this CHEAP, then it's worth it for the quality of the photo printing, but plan for it to have a short life.
Pretty Good, But...
yep, this thing uses photo ink like a horse drinks water. not sure how it compares to other makes or models though.

Excellent printer
I would recommend this printer to anyone who wants laser quality and needs output that doesn't take forever!Easy to assemble and operate, excellent quality, and a great buy at the price. I'm REALLY glad I got it!
Great Product - Expensive Cartridges
The printer itself is great.very high quality and reasonably quick.
Perfect for small office
Bought this printer based on reviews I had read. Although some reviews were slightly negative , on the whole the bulk were glowing, and after having had mine for 3 months now I have to concur.

Simple Camera with All the Functions Needed....Great Starter
This camera was my second digital camera. It is very nice as far as price and picture goes. The pictures come out very clear but you would need to get an SD card because the internal memory will not hold more than 10 pictures. The functions are simple and ready to use. There is a single-button video function that takes long videos with audio. You can also add audio to still photos. The downside to this camera is that it uses a lot of battery. Do not use store-bought regular alkaline batteries as it will drain within 25-30 shots w/ flash. Please use at least a 2200 mah rechargeable battery. When using rechargeable batteries, you will find that you can get at least 150 to 200 shots, no problem. Still, the camera is a battery drainer. Also, the camera only tells you about low battery when it is low on battery. There is no battery scale on the LCD screen so you do not know when you would need new batteries. The LCD is enough for regular use to view pictures but I find it somewhat fuzzy in quality compared to transferring photos and viewing on the computer. The flash recycle time is longer than others and may not be able to take multiple shots within about 10 seconds.
Good price, easy to use, questionable performance
I bought this camera priced-to-sell in a bundle pack. It's a good basic camera--certainly not streamlined or flashy, though.Having used complicated cameras, I must say the menu for this is very easy to navigate. So far, I've had a chance to take pictures with it indoors, and have noticed something funny compared to other cameras I've used--you seem to have to stand ABSOLUTELY STILL when taking pictures with the flash, as one of the other reviewers noted.I've never experienced this before with any other camera I've used. This alone might be enough for me to return it, if I'm not able to find a mode where this doesn't happen.
Great photos, but poor performance.
I purchased this for general family use and soon discovered that it drained batteries quickly (even specialty batteries) so I had to keep an extra set of batteries in the case. However, in fairness to HP the photos are superb and of photo lab quality. The biggest disappointment is the shutter speed. There's a one-second delay between the time you press the button and when the camera actually captures the image.

My 327 HP digital camera, two months later
For the price, ease of use, compactness, and pics which for the most part are OK, I doubt you can beat this little camera. I was just a little disappointed in the quality of the pics generally, as I guess I had expected more with the 5 mp capability. My last camera, an HP 320, which cost about $80 and which had a 2.7 mp rating, seemed to produce pics just about as good. A feature that I really like is the video, which apparently will play for as long as you want, or at least until the batteries run out. Great fun.
A GREAT CAMERA
I have to say this is a great camera with beautiful prints every single time you snap a picture. I have had this camera for almost 9 months and I have not had one single complaint scince I got this. It's extremly simple to operate with not that many buttons or meconisims to use to get confused with. I recomend this to every one and you wont even know that you paid so little for this camera once you see the beautiful prints it delivers.
