I won't be purchasing a Gateway product again
For basic home networking, this router is fine as long as you don't need any support.I could never get VPN to work, and Gateway tech support admitted it was most likely a hardware problem, but refused to even tell me where to find firmware updates since the problem was not discovered until it was barely out of warranty (unless I paid $3/minute or $300/year for the privilege, although they assured me that they still didn't expect to be able to solve the problem even if I paid the steep price).Since this was one of many such experiences over the past few years, I replaced the router with another brand (a less expensive but more configurable model), and have had no problems at all.

You get what you pay for.
I've heard horror stories about getting a wireless network configured in your house.Either I'm very lucky or this product is better than a lot of the cheap stuff out there. Gateway router

As you pay, so shall you play...
It's been a year since I bought this piece of (let us be politically correct and say) 'equipment'. I bought this after many rebates when the iPods of the world were substantially more expensive.

This player was for my 16th birthday, and its been four years now that ive had it.the functions on it work great just that i have chubby fingers so it is difficult in the cold sometimes to push the buttons. but other than that it is wonderful, great sounds, can control volume easily, and is great for data storage.the headphones that came with it wore out so i went to wm and baught a five dollar pair and they sound just as good.i have seventy eight files on there now and still have half the memory for music or more files.and since i am in college this works wonders for pulling up my term papers and projects, since it has NEVER crashed on me OR lost FILES of any-sort.i recommend this product for all. ... It's sucks..............
What a horrible camera.....heavy, bulky, slow, I think the worst of all was the LCD, its dark, blurry, slow.....The pictures most of all are blurry.....

Glad I hadn't read the reviews
I bought this camera for $199 in 2004. I liked that it was a high pixel camera, had a color LCD screen and had many different modes (macro, black & white, sepia, movie, portrait, etc). In 2 years, I have taken approximately 2000 pictures and several dozen videos. The only picture quality issue I have had was that I kept getting blurred pictures until I turned the automatic flash on, and I have not had any problems with blurring since then. I have used the color format, black & white, and sepia formats, as well. I am VERY "camera dumb" and didn't actually get around to reading my manual until just this year, yet I hadn't ever had an issue with using this camera, it is fairly user friendly. Unlike other reviewers, I have never, ever had an issue with any card errors, lenses freezing up, camera shutting off, card erasing pictures, etc.....however, I recently noticed that my battery wasn't holding a charge. We took the camera to the store we purchased it from and they said the camera's battery charger was defective, so they sent us a replacement. It did not work, so my husband again took the camera to the store and they said that there must be something wrong with it, so it has been sent back to the manufacturer to be "fixed" or to be replaced with a comparable item. After reading all these reviews, I am fervently hoping that they replace it with a different brand!
wish i could choose NO stars- dangerous flash, possibly?
I just threw this out, today.I had bought a new battery AND charger AND SD card in case any of those were the problem.I wish I had looked here first and read the reviews, and given up immediately instead of being further nickle-and-dimed to death.
JUST PLAIN JUNK
This is by far the worst item I have ever owned in my entire life.After spending $300, this thing will work once in a great while...I still use an older 35mm as a backup!It will not do anything now. DOACard error cannot be overcome on this unit.It took pictures when it felt like it.I missed a lot.No wonder Gateway closed their stores.VERY POOR CRAFTSMANSHIP! ... Read more

Not a full-fledged camcorder, and yet very much more than a toy, the Gateway DVS20 MPEG4 Pocket Multi-Cam is one of a new generation of "convergence" devices that take both still images and tapeless digital video. In a head-to-head contest with a full-featured tapeless camcorder--something from Panasonic D-Snap's line, for example--it may not come out all that well, but at this price range a more fair comparison would be with an entry-level digital still camera. I think that this is the best buy on the net, great video, excellent controls.Recommended.

A solid, cheap camcorder and camera.
While the DVS20 doesn't provide high-quality video, it's very adequate, especially considering the price.I am a college tennis player and use it to tape my tennis matches.The quality is just fine.The DVS20 takes decent pictures as well.I'm happy with this product and would recommend it to those who don't need serious, high-quality video.

I read the reviews before I bought this little multi-cam, so I knew what I was getting. I also knew that for the price, this was not going to be some high-end piece of equipment. I want to like my Camera :(
I was so happy when I bought my first digital camera!It was a huge expense for me when I got it (college student, part time worker) and I made a huge deal about getting the best camera for my buck.Sure, sometimes the picture quality is bad, but I can get that with any camera.The problem with this one?The BATTERIES!!!

Say no to Gateway
Gateway Has really bad customer service[/size]: I spent $2800.00 on custom laptop for gaming. after 24 days it crapped out.... The Gateway policy is that YOU have to pay them $45.00 for them to send you a box to ship it back to them to fix it! after they had it back for over 10 days and still didn't know what is wrong with it or when I would get it back...I told them to just send me my money back and they got downright nasty with me. I talked with two people in customer service and they told me there was nobody else to talk with "NO returns after 15 days" "They will just fix it and send it back"

Excellent monitor
I purchased this monitor to replace my old 21" VX1100 CRT which, quite literally, took a dive.I am very pleased with it.First of all, MAN it freed up a lot of desk space!More space for empty cans of Jolt ;) The clarity is outstanding (naturally, since it's an LCD) far better than my 21" CRT even at lower resolutions.I have had it since the model came out about 2 1/2 years ago, and all pixels still work.It should also be noted that it's fairly durable.On several occasions I have accidentally smacked the screen with my paper-holding rack thing which is on a swinging arm, and it still works perfectly.One of the things I like about it is the styling.The silver and black really looks great and it isn't molded in a design as tacky as some other flat panels, like Dell's.I'd like a larger size, but the 17" is very affordable and very functional.Great product. ...
