Great Keyboard
Well built and sturdy while also sleek and lightweight, this device is a joy for anyone who flourishes typing with laptop keyboards. It didn't take much thought for me to buy second one of these keyboards for my large rolling laptop case, and the travel version (31P9490, identical to this model, except minus the number pad) for my carry-around bag.
Simply the best
I have been a ThinkPad user for over 10 years and been spoiled with using the best laptop keyboards out there.
Do NOT Buy From Tigerdirect
I ordered this item 2 weeks ago and still have not received it. When I do finally receive this I will have to call Tigerdirect and wait until an operator answers the phone so I can be issued a "Return Authorization" before I can send it back. Tigerdirect is the only store I've ever heard of that requires you to call them first prior to returning an item. They're web page says that if you do not get this "Return Authorization" first, they will not accept the return and send the item back to you. IBM 3-Button Travel Wheel Mouse
I borrowed a friend's IBM 3-Button Travel Wheel Mouse to use temporarily, while I set up my new computer.However, after only two days of using this mouse, I have grown to like it so much that today I ordered one for everyday use in my home office.As another reviewer noted, the mouse feels small when you first start using it, but now that I've become accustomed to it, I don't want to use any other mouse.Its smaller footprint (not quite 3.5 inches, as opposed to my 5-inch IntelliMouse) makes it especially comfortable for people with small palms.The tracking is very accurate on smooth, hard surfaces, the buttons work easily, and the suede-like texture makes it extremely comfortable to hold.Another reviewer mentioned that the mouse is not as quiet as they'd like it to be, but the one that I've been using is completely silent.This one is definitely a winner.

Although ackward in the beginning, once you try you won't want another mouse. I initially took one for my laptop and for travel but I eded up using it at home. I like the lided red wheel, the lightness and the small size of this comfortable mouse - also very precise and sharp. Can't find anything better than T23!
I was using ThinkPad T21 for six years, and was extremely satisfied with quality of that laptop (especially its keyboard, which worked like new after all those years). In Sep-2006 I started looking for a replacement laptop - but not because T21 died - and couldn't find anything better than T23. I hate touch pads (and all T-series models, starting with T30, come with both TrackPoint *and* touch pad), I need three mouse buttons, serial port and both CD-ROM and floppy disk. The best fit for my requirements came in the form of ThinkPad T23 (2647-N22). Mine has 40 GB hard drive (it boots in either Windows XP, or Red Hat Linux), and 1 Gigabyte of RAM, the maximum amount this model can be upgraded to. Would recommend T23 - and any other ThinkPad laptop in general - over anything HP/Compaq or Dell can offer!

happy with product
The first laptop we bought had a bad hard drive, however we called Amazon and you guys took care of the problem. The first computer that you sent us came with a removeable floppy drive, but the second computer you sent us did not. We called amazon and they credited us the amount for the floppy drive, and the shipping to ship the defective laptop back. Over all we all very pleased with amazon and our purchase. There were problems with our order but Amazon took care of it in a very professional manner.

PC DOS 2000 CD-ROM
According to the installation instructions in the User's Guide you must have a copy of DOS 3.3 or higher (THUS THIS IS AN UPGRADE).But, there is no indication in Amazon's advertisement or on the cover of the User's Guide that this is an upgrade.The first mention that it is an upgrade is on page xii of the User's Guide. Best DOS yet
I'm a big DOS games enthusiast and I've found PC DOS 2000 to be hands down the best version of DOS I've used. The best features of PC DOS 2000 are the amount of free conventional memory you can get compared to older versions, as well as the inclusion of ramboost, which is an excellent automated memory manager. I built another pc just for this OS (dual booted with win 2000 with no problems). Windows 3.x runs great in PC DOS 2000. I've been able to run many games perfectly that I haven't been able to run well or at all in almost 10 years. No problems running hardcore memory hungry games like Ultima VII. If you like DOS and you're using an older version do yourself a favor and pick up a copy.

If you're truly an old hand at computers, you may still have 5.25 floppy drives, 2400 baud modems, AST memory expansion cards and maybe even a few CGA video cards laying around.Do you remember RLL hard drives of less then 50 Megga bytes?How about LIM ver. 4.0?
