easy to set up, but the pictures are bad
I got this with my computer and used it for about a year until I got a new camera. This camera was easy to set up, but the picture quality is horrendous. If picture quality isn't a big deal to you, the Intel Easy PC Cam pack will work for you; but if you like having quality images, save your money and invest in a better webcam (like the Intel Pocket PC Cam).

Great bang for the buck
If you can find one of these you won't be disappointed.The video is crisp and clear and, unlike some webcams, sending video does not slow your computer to any noticeable degree.Installation is simple and the swivel mount makes aiming easy.One small problem - the camera does not work with CUSeeMe software for some reason. But it works great with NetMeeting, Paltalk, Yahoo, ICUII that I know of.They are tough to find - don't know if they are out of production or what.Far better than several others I've tried.

The cheapest little camera you'll ever love
When I upgraded to Win. XP the first thing it decided not to accept was my PC Cam. It was close to christmas time and I had spent a bundle and was looking for an inexpensive camera that would just be compatable with XP until after the holidays when I was sure I'd find a bargain. That was four months ago. I am so impressed with what this little cam can do that I havent bothered to look any further. Sony Vaio fs740 - Good laptop
I've had the fs740 a while and haven't had any of the problems that the others are describing.The trend seems to be that bestbuy is selling defective machines.Perhaps they get theirs made especially for them and cut corners?That said, I have heard alot of complaints about the customer service practices of Sony even though I havent had to deal with them (yet).
bad product, worse customer service
I brought the product from best buy in chicago, after a month the laptop suddenly died on me, took it back to best buy, it took more than 3 weeks for the pc to come back, with all the data erased , apparently there was a problem in the mother board ( it seems this is quite a frequent problem with vaios the connection between the power supply & the mother board !).
SONY VAIO VGN-FS HAS DEFECTIVE AND WRONGLY DESIGNED LCD.
VGN FS SONY VAIO PRODUCTS HAVE DEFECTIVE AND POORLY DESIGNED LCD. MOSTLY MADE IN CHINA WITH LOW QUALITY COMPONENTS.

Did a lot of research and am 100% satisfied...
Quick rundown:
Sony VAIO T350/l Rocks
The T350 series is being offered by Sony as an ultimate back-to-school accessory. If only such had been available when I was in school. For me it is the ultimate road warrior computer. It is as powerful as a desktop and keeps up nicely with a big HP bad boy laptop which was designed for performance, not battery life. In all respects, the small Sony is equal or better and it's just a joy to use. The keyboard reminds me of an Apple PowerBook keyboard. It is small which is normally a disadvantage but the sure, precise action makes it as easy to use as a desktop keyboard and easier than most laptops.
A product that shows the bleeding edge of technology
I bought the Sony Vaio T250L, the percursor to this model; the T350 series is the T250, but with the addition of 3G connectivity to the Bluetooth and WiFi. Every other spec is the same.

Great laptop..could have been better
Very good display and sound system. Comes with good video editing softwares. This could have been better by giving a slot for SD card, it includes only slot for memory stick duo which is not a popular memory like SD card. The ram could have been 1 GB at least as the128 MB shared video RAM reduces the total available memory for PC operations.

Love this Machine
I've had my Satellite since July 2004 and haven't had a problem with it.I'm a gamer, and I tend to play for blocks of hours at a time(today was six or so).I also do a lot with ITunes and my IPod.It stands up to the demands of my media-friendly life.I've no problems with overheating; I do use a lapdesk which allows it to circulate air freely underneath the unit.(It's more comfy on the couch, also.)I would highly recommend this machine, and am actually looking to buy the new Satellite P105 (to keep up with the latest high-end gaming specs).Interestingly, I bought this to replace a Dell gaming laptop that had problems out of the box, and experienced so many problems with Dell customer service that I vowed to buy from an actual store from here on (Dell's standards seem to be dropping with the outsourcing).I am now a loyal Toshiba customer!

Toshiba Satellite P35-S609 Notebook PC-Design Flaw
In the beginning my Toshiba Satellite P35-S609 Notebook PCwould just shut down after over-heating. The screen would go blank and the machine would shut down inexplicably.However, the machine would eventually start functioning after awhile.It was used very little during its life due to its dependability. The machine quit functioning entirely in April 2006--less than a year and a half after purchasing it and after the one year warranty period expired.
Defective Product
After a few months my laptop began to shut down randomly.Because I've worked with some overclocking, I have a pretty good idea of what overheating looks like, so I called up tech support to tell them about my overheating problems.They "fixed" the unit claiming their was a short somewhere in the circuit that was drawing extra power.Now, a few months later, the system is doing it again.I've tried to clean out the system for better airflow, however, my laptop isn't cooling down any.I would recommend searching for a program called hmonitor to see just how hot your CPU runs.Mine is the same computer as above with a 2.8 ghz P4 and it idles at 50 C, which is well above recommended.A few minutes of activity, watching a movie, running a game, or anything else stressful on the processor, and it quickly shoots to above 70 C.Run it like that for more than a few minutes and it shuts down.
