1-0 out of 5 stars Avoid this printer like the Plague!
I, as many others, was wooed by this printer due to its insanely low price. But unfortunately, that age-old saying is true: "you get what you pay for". It was great for a few days, with only the occasional paper jam, but after about a week... I cannot get a page to successfully load into the printer! If there are more than 5 pages in the tray, it takes all of the pages at once - and if there are less than 5 pages, it usually doesn't take anything. I feel deceived by HP!

4-0 out of 5 stars Very good for the price
This is my first HP printer and i've had it seven months. I especially like the printing software. Unlike other reviewers, I've hadonly a very few paper jams. Other minor problems were easily resolved by reading the manuel or common sense problem solving.
1-0 out of 5 stars Unsatisfied Customer
I regret buying this printer.I can only feed one page at a time to avoid paper jams, whether using recycled or new paper.I really don't print that much and this is the most I've ever spent on ink.The print quality isn't even that great. It was a waste of money. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Prints fine--uses unk quickly
This is my second ink printer for the current HP computer I own and it prints much quicker than the last printer. However, changing the ink every three months is a little often, in my opinion.

4-0 out of 5 stars What a good little printer!
I bought it for $70 and it's never given me any trouble and the photo quality (especially) is surprisingly good. This is a great value in printers.

4-0 out of 5 stars Not perfect - But gets it right where it counts - Buy it!
I bought this because my HP-48 is too big to lug around all the time. Keypad has nice tactile feel. Snap-on rigid case and slide-out plasticized 'quick-reference' guide are good (NB I haven't dropped it yet, but it looks fairly durable...).
1-0 out of 5 stars Let's move along, there's nothing to see here.
I'm begging you not to buy this calculator. It is not just terrible, it is REALLY terrible.1-0 out of 5 stars Warning, this is an HP without RPN
This is an HP calculator without Reverse Polish Notation entry. This is very similar to TI calculators with an algebraic-type notation input. Those of us who have used the very intuitive (in my opinion) RPN over the years, I am astounded that this is an HP calculator that fails to mention that it is not RPN; not on the box, not on the Amazon description, nowhere.I would return this calculator other than the anti-theft package is destroyed after opening (so it is not returnable), to only find it is a TI-like algebraic input.Read more

For many, Compaq's iPAQs were the pick of the first round of Pocket PC releases. Now that Microsoft has released a new version of its Pocket PC operating system (Pocket PC 2002), the company's previous hardware partners have all updated their products and some new players have joined in. 4-0 out of 5 stars Good unit, but poor battery, and no backup battery..
A nice upgrade to the 1550 Aero PDA, but the battery has very short life, and the unit has no internal memory save battery - so it loses *everything* if the battery runs dowmn.
1-0 out of 5 stars Dissapointing
I bought this product January last year and just throw it to the garbage bin yesterday.
5-0 out of 5 stars Palm is but a distant memory
After about 6 months of having a refurbished Handspring Treo 90 (check out that review of mine too) I decided to try something new. I desperately wanted to an iPAQ which has windows built into it. How cool can you get by practically having a computer built right into your hands? Most of the ones that had just come out were much too expensive, and the newest one was a cell phone which didn't get too good of reviews on Amazon, not to mention, I already have a cell phone. Then I saw the Compaq iPAQ 3835, which immediately kicked my PDA lust up a notch.

1-0 out of 5 stars Paper Jams and Crackling
Yup, the other reviewers have it right.Eighteen months-two years, wonderful printer, then CRUNCH, the paper begins to crinkle, the printer beings to crackle, and you're looking at either a big repair bill ($80 an hour in my area) or a new printer.Ouch!

2-0 out of 5 stars Fuser film sleeve problems within a couple of years
I administer around 40 1300n printers and most of them are doing okay after 15 months worth of use but I have noticed several starting to have problems with the fuser film sleeve coming apart inside. At first you start hearing a noise as the sleeve revolves around with the part that is flaking off making noise with every spin. And from what I understand, this is not something very easy to replace by yourself.

2-0 out of 5 stars Good while it lasted...about 2 years
I came online just to check prices for this printer, since mine just flamed out and I wanted to see how much I'd originally spent on it. I was startled to see other reviews detailing *exactly* what happened to my 1300... steaming along just fine until about year 2, then paper jams, crackling noises, shredded rollers and the works.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fast, Darned Fast
I am used to faster network printers in the 30ppm range (which makes home printers seem slow). Then, this thing spits out at 45ppm. It seems like ours does 60ppm because it prints a page per second (maybe because they are not full pages of text). Wow. Of course, the expected HP quality and reliability. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Calculator, worthless PDA
This calculator saved by [...] in college, empowering me to get my degree in Corporate Finance and International Economics. When I started my upper division classes, the Prof.'s insisted that their students get a financial calculator.Knowing that cash was tight, they pointed us to the low end calculator's like HP-12's and TI BA's.But when I looked at them, I was disappointed and apprehensive. Then I asked the Prof.'s, lecturers, and guest speakers which calculator they used, I found they used the HP 17's and HP 19's.That settled it for me.And the difference quickly became obvious compared to my classmates who bought the cheaper models.
4-0 out of 5 stars Right tool for the right job
If your looking for a machine that you can drop off a building, do sophisticated mathematics, or use as PDA, this isn't it.But if you're a financial profesional that wants a quick, user-friendly tool, it's hard to beat.Yes, my first 19BII disintegrated when it fell off my desk, and the battery door on my second one is held on by tape, but I wouldn't trade it for the world.
4-0 out of 5 stars Great for business and MBA
Great device!

2-0 out of 5 stars Had it for 18 months, then keyboard started to break
Pros: This calculator (and presumably other HP 48/49 calculators) has an operating system that far surpasses TI's in usability. The angled keys are really nice to use, when they work.

1-0 out of 5 stars HP is now refusing to replace this printer
This printer died on me last week in exactly the same way as has been widely reported here and other forums (such as fixyourownprinter.com).I contacted HP telephone support, mentioning that there were numerous reports on the Internet of them replacing this printer even though it was out of warranty. The telephone representative evaded acknowledging this, and tried very hard to sell me a new printer. I contacted online support. The online support representative at least did acknowledge that the reports of free replacements were true. But he said that this policy had been discontinued as of December 2005. When I asked why he said "Sorry, I don't have the details, as this is a decision of the higher ups."He tried to sell me a new printer too. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars HP Says They Still Have Support for the CP1700...
I am currently dealing with a printer that is printing weird little hash marks across straight lines at random. We first were getting messages to change the print heads and would do so, only to have it keep telling us we needed to change the print heads. Then we could "trick it" by opening and shutting the cover a few times and we could get a few more prints out of it, before the message would come back, which by the way makes it so you can't keep printing. 6 months ago, we tried to print off color brochures and the colors were horrible--so that wasn't going to work.We also are experiencing blue ghost like things around text and objects when trying to print out autocad files.:P
1-0 out of 5 stars Does this thing come with a hamster inside?
We use this printer at my work, and those of us who have a desk in the same room as the printer hate it! This printer has been squeaking so loudly that we joke and tell customers that we have a hamster running on a wheel inside of it. The customers can hear the printer squeaking in the background when they call in. The squeaking is so loud that it is hard to hear on the phone when it is running. The print quality is not very impressive, either. I have one at home by HP that cost a 10th of what this piece of junk did, and the quality on my printer is much better.

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent!
I've had this little bugger for almost a full week now, and I must say, I think it was the best investment I've made concerning tools for my career (freelance writing). The Pocket version of Word is the handiest thing for an English Major on the run.I can work on whatever writing projects I have going, whenever or wherever I have the chance, and it is fully compatible with my Win XP desktop at home. And with it's organizer capabilities, it certainly eliminated a TON of the clutter in my bookbag/purse.(Before, I was carrying a writing notebook, a planner, post-it-notes for the planner, etc etc--now the h1945 has replaced darn near all of it!)

3-0 out of 5 stars Worked great for a year... then.. pft.
If I wrote this review a month ago, I would have said Yes, this printer is fantastic. The photo quality is gorgeous and its easy to use.
1-0 out of 5 stars Small part broke off from tri-color cartridge holder
A small plastic part broke off from the tri-color cartridge holder, and now the little metal wire in that cartridge holder area no longer is in the correct position. When I put a tri-color cartridge in, the printer says the color cartridge is bad. The printer now will only print with the black or photo cartridge in--but either way the prints come out black and white. I really loved this printer until this happened. I was concerned about the cheap feel of the cartridge holders and the snap down latch on the cartridges--but I thought it would be ok since it was made by HP. I am going to miss this printer (I am still upset that it broke!) and I was careful with it.

2-0 out of 5 stars Flimsy as advertised...
As others have specified, things are flimsy.I've had this printer now for 389 days. And as the tech support person I talked to this evening, there is only a 365 day warranty...

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Camera, Excellent Price
Great starter camera that is very user friendly with absolutely no learning curve.Extremely sturdy unlike new more sophisticated models.

1-0 out of 5 stars Blurry pictures
I have had this camera for about five years and thought the poor photos were me.But after all this time the camera is still taking bad shots.Grainy(sp) pictures.

4-0 out of 5 stars I'm Impressed
This camera was another one of those gifts I couldn't use because I wouldn't upgrade from Windows 95, and truth be told I just liked film, so the little camera found its way into the closet; however, when I upgraded to an iMac last summer I hooked it up and was very impressed with the results (I've included six examples in the "share a photo" section, all were taken with the "Fine" photo quality setting (1200X1600 resolution.) A "Basic" (640X480) and "SuperFine" (1200X1600) are also available.

1-0 out of 5 stars A Big Waste of Money - Looking to replace this camera ASAP
I lost my HP R607 while on vacation and needed to replace it quickly. I couldn't fine another R607 (which I really liked), so I purchased the HP M407. I thought it would be the next best thing to my misplaced camera...NOT!! I don't like anything about this camera...It's terrible! You can take about 4 pictures with regular batteries, about 10 with rechargeable ones (even with screen off). It says "auto focus", but I don't think it has any focus at all....not far away, not close up, nothing! It takes a really looooooooong time to actually Take the picture after you press the button.I really hate it!Keep Looking...Don't buy this camera!

2-0 out of 5 stars Great camera for the first month or so
We bought one of these in the spring of '05. We took it on vacation in July of '05 and the LCD screen blacked out a few days into our vacation. I called HP and was informed that a RECONDITIONED (used) camera was all that I could get. The camera was still under the manufacturers' warranty, but their policy was to replace it with a used camera, not a new one. I had to settle for the "reconditioned" camera. It has been OK since then.
2-0 out of 5 stars Great camera... while it lasts.
Normally I wouldnt write a review, but I have had numerous experiences with this camera that I thought I would share.
