5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful
This is one of the best laser printers I have ever used.Highly 5-0 out of 5 stars not a single complaint
I've had the opportunity to use this printer (home use) for the past 2 years (it was my roommate's).The thing is so fantastic and dependable I forget it's even there; I think that's the true measure of an excellent product - when using it becomes completely transparent.I've come to expect this top-notch quality and dependablility; I have no idea what I'm going to buy to try and replace it now that I'm moving out.5-0 out of 5 stars Speed, Quality, Reliability
I recently purchased the 4050 from Amazon and couldn't be more pleased with the quality, ease of installation and use of this printer. The 1200 dpi is spectacular and halftones look great. The built-in Postscriptcapability is a godsend and I can't believe the speed with which the 4050delivers copies! Although a printed manual would have been an asset, Ihaven't needed to look at the documentation disk. I highly recommend thisprinter for those who need a high-volume, top quality machine. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Works great!!
I'm a network administrator (among other things!!) and my boss decided to buy this scanner for my department.I do a LOT of scanning and I don't have any complaints about this scanner. We've had it for about a year without any problems. It's true it takes a while doing the first scan, because it has to "warm up the lamp", but after that it's very fast.It comes with some bundled software you can use to scan several parts of a large image and then put them together like a puzzle, but to be honest I rather use photoshop to do that job, and I get great results!!
1-0 out of 5 stars Plenty problems
I'm now on my third scanner of this type.
3-0 out of 5 stars Great Scanner .... But,
It is a great design,, very easy to use and takes up little desk space.BUT, scanning any photos with large black spaces (ie black backdrop) left a streaked look and the black was more of a grey.HP promptly sent me a replacement scanner. This one the steaks are gone, but the black areas are still grayish and blotchy.

4-0 out of 5 stars Worth the $$$
I purchased this printer, not knowing exactly what I would use it for, and realized that it works great for photos.I no longer make the run to the store and open up the wallet. The cartridges last for a decent amount of time and I thoroughly enjoy the convenience.

1-0 out of 5 stars Carriage stuck.
The quality of pictures is very good. However, the carriage gets stuck on the left margin and there is no solution, outside of replacement of printer. The lever to insert photo size paper is poorly designed and break easily, leaving one to hand feed paper.

4-0 out of 5 stars This printer is Great!
This printer prints out wonderful pictures. I'm very happy with it. I have had no problems whatsoever. I think the people that had problems possibly had a bad batch. No product is perfect. But as far as I'm concerned, mine is great!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Print Quality
I purchased this printer 12/03 and I am a satisfied customer to date. The print quality is excellent, no smudges and it prints pages at a high speed.I thought a starter toner cartridge would be included with the printer but I went though an entire tax season printing numerous returns and IRS publications and I am still using the same cartridge. One minor problem is the noise level. It is loud!At first, you may be tempted to "dash" out of the room.I actually has mine in a closet (it is connected to a linksys wireless print server). Setting up the printer was relatively easy and if you decide to connect wirelessly that process is easy as well.5-0 out of 5 stars A fantastic printer at a great price!
I bought this printer to replace an old HP Laserjet 2100TN.The 2100TN is five years old and still runs flawlessly.3-0 out of 5 stars Good print quality but noisy

5-0 out of 5 stars A partner
When my old HP 32s broke, several years ago, I run to the store and bougth a 32sII, even though I was not doing too much technical calculations anymore. I was used to this unit, that had been with me several years while studying, helping me to solve a huge amount of engineering problems.
5-0 out of 5 stars Finest Calculator Ever Made
I lost my HP32SII last week and I'm heart-broken!Simply put it was the finest calculator and engineer's friend. The replacement model 33s has none of the feel and simple beauty that the 32SII has.The RPN mode is so easy to learn and makes long calculations a breeze. The keys are firm and give positive feedback when you press them. The size is just fine for pant or shirt pockets.Try any TI, Casio, etc. calculator out there.None compare to Hewlett-Packard's Scientific Calculator 32SII. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars USE IT, LOVE IT
I have had my Pocket PC for quite some time now, and I love the convenience that it offers.
3-0 out of 5 stars hard to read the screen
This is a good value, but the screen is very difficult to read in less than perfect lighting conditions.Under bright flourescent lights in the office, it is fine. The rest of the time, though, I have a heck of a time with it. The internal memory also isn't really big enough to store MP3s.I decided to go back to paper and pen.

4-0 out of 5 stars Why I still like this PDA, continued
I found out the way to copy photos from my CompactFlash card onto the iPAQ. It's not hard but more complex than necessary. I also found out how to send the iPAQ in to have its screen replaced. A hassle. Its screen and/or stylus should work together so they don't produce scratches in the first place. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars What a let down
There are a lot of good review on this printer. After doing what i felt was adequate research i purchased the 2550n for the networking and inexpensive color printing.I wasnt wanting photo perfection just nice color printing.
1-0 out of 5 stars Not a good buy.
I am replacing this dud with another printer after less than 2 years. This was a major purchase for a school Art department with limited funds. The write ups sounded good and prints cheaper than the other printer I had in mind. The printer was to replace inkjets so we could network with a number of eMacs and make life easier. Hmmm.... I had to get an HP guy into make the thing work properly and that took calls around the worldtill I got someone to come in who lived near. He fiddled and fixed after a while but problems continued - he came in twice and it work sporadically for a year but would stop printing for no reason, print at odd times for no reason, pressing flashing buttons ??why were they flashing - who knows?I 'd get full colour copies of the machine advertising using up pages of ink. This year has been all down hill I have wasted so much time on the machine and have very disappointed students. Good point : print quality is OK for the printer type.

2-0 out of 5 stars Disappointing

5-0 out of 5 stars really good printer
i got this printer to start a photo studio in my house, and i live out of te city and all the people i took a picture, are happy whit it. i am workin whit this printer so, i tink is one of the best i have. also have lexmark 6170 all in one and works great too. the ink last me a lot. have more than 100 shots and still almost at half. i sold all the pict. and share whit some family , all are in love whit this printer. another thing. i dont use glossy paper. starting using ferrania profesional satin is the best paper for photos. try ferrania and youll remember me.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great for novices and travellers
The printer is highly suitable for non-PC environments and for those on the go. The HP Photosmart 130's affordable price, support for the main digicam storage media, "no-brainer" operation and quality output also make it a good buy for novice and intermediate digital camera users who are looking for a photo printer.4-0 out of 5 stars Good Printer for the Price
Considering that this is an older model from HP (HP discontinued this model and suggest to buy Photosmart 145 as an alternative), this is a good printer. It does pretty well what it promises to do - print quality 4x6 photos. The printer is easy to set up and easy to use. It accepts different types of digital memory cards and is pretty fast in printing - less than 30 seconds to print one photo. The quality of the prints is as good as regular camera prints - your friends wouldn't tell the difference unless you tell them. The one inconvenience with this printer is the non-availability of print preview facility on the printer - you have to note down the serial number of the image (by viewing on the camera) before inserting the digital memory card into the printer. Overall, this is a good printer for the price you get it. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Too annoying for the money
Uses way too much ink for normal printing jobs, even when settings are adjusted down. Worst of all, every time you change a cartridge it prints an ink-wasting test page. No way to disable this feature...I've tried, including talking to tech support. There are better color printers out there. Buy one.

1-0 out of 5 stars I speak from experience
I talked my boss into getting this printer for me. It was around $400 at the time with tax. I been using it for about a year. I never had a chance at work to print the large format COLOR pictures. That is because once there is a paper jam & the cartridge does not return it is almost impossible to get it to work again without going to the repair shop. I had to take in in three times to get it fixed and now parts are no longer available. This is the worse printer I have ever used. I will never buy a other HP Printer again (Computers Ok, or at least my HP is.) I e-mailed HP but they could care less.

3-0 out of 5 stars Okay for the Price
I managed to test this on some 13x19" Staples Professional Photo Paper. I would deem the quality acceptable and pretty good, although for the cost, I may as well go to a photo lab.

4-0 out of 5 stars Increasing power charge time
For those of you experiencing problems with sustaining a power charge...I had the same problem and my iPAQ only held a charge for a few hours, I was always losing data and eventually stopped using the device.I was ready to throw it out and I put it away for serveral months.I decided to give it another try and discovered that by adjusting the "Standby" setting (found under Settings, Power, then click Standby tab) the device now holds a charge for several days depending on usage. The "Standby" setting was set at 100 and I brought that setting down to 25.Give it a try before you give up on your iPAQ!

3-0 out of 5 stars Reliable when new...not so after a few years
I bought my 3900 series Ipaq brand new (not refurbished). It has worked GREAT for the first 2 years.During the 3rd year, the battery started dying.I sent it back to have the battery replaced and have had trouble ever since.I do not believe at this time that the battery was ever bad.I believe there is an internal problem that makes this unit "think" that the battery isn't charged, or that really drains the battery power quickly. After charging the unit to 100% charged at midnight, I have gone back at 8am to find the battery completely dead. For the first few times, the data could be recovered. After that, I had to keep restoring the data in order to use it.Interestingly, I pulled the unit off the charger at 80% as I didn't have time to let it charge. That time it lasted for 4 days without problems.I have heard this complaint from all the 3800 and 3900 series owners that I know.If you want to buy this unit, it's great as long as you can charge it often.Otherwise, be prepared to buy another one after a few years (new) or a few months (used/refurbished).
2-0 out of 5 stars Power issues
I have had my 3955 for only 16 months of relatively light usage (I do not even use it every day, as I quickly learned how rapidly the unit burns through a charge). Now, for no apparent reason, the internal battery will not hold a charge . . . fully charged off the docking station, the unit is fully discharged (and all my data and settings gone!) less than 24 hours later after the unit has not been used at all!For this kind of money, I would expect better battery life and the ability to self-install a new battery, rather than having to send the unit in for service.I will probably not purchase another iPaq unless these issues are addressed by HP. ... BEWARE of using this if you are trying to scan to PDF - especially if you use PaperPort software. The pdfs show up with a documate watermark on them indicating that it is a trial version.GOOD LUCK getting it off...tried the ScanSoft support - they know it is an issue but their 'fix' doesn't work and you'll have to pay $40 if you want to talk to someone.Still have not figured this out. Also, pages scan at 25pp per minute once they start going through - the wait time at the start is long (even if you don't use the energy saving mode).

1-0 out of 5 stars This Printer is a Disaster
This printer is very loud.It sounds like a blowdryer and causes the lights in my office to dim (I'm in an old building, but still).I have a USB 2.0 connection, so there should be no problem. It keeps jamming and the help function is completely useless.I used the HP 4000 for many years and was very happy. This printer is a disaster.

The HP PS735 delivers big results from a little camera, thanks mainly to its high-resolution CCD. 4-0 out of 5 stars A Decent Snapshot Camera, but Buy a Newer One
I have owned this camera for almost 3 years now, and it is the sturdiest and most reliable one that I have had.Once, I dropped it from 5 feet onto a sidewalk and it didn't even get a scratch. The outdoor picture quality is excellent, as well as the macro mode, but if you have shaky hands (like me), you will have a ton of blurry pics. The screen just can't compete with new cameras, being too small and dim to see outdoors. The flash is weak, but if you know how to use aperture and ISO settings, indoor shots will turn out pretty good.Personally, I think buyers would be better off buying one of HP's new R-series cameras (R717, R817, etc). While this camera is cheap and pretty reliable, the newer models have much more features and are still around $200-$300.

4-0 out of 5 stars okay
this cam was great when untill the flash didnt work! i went online for support but after talking to them, they said it was a internal malfunction or something like that but by then the warrantee already expired so im stuck with a flashless camera.Ive miss many special moments due to no flash.and its really hard taking pictures with no flash and no tripod.
5-0 out of 5 stars Solid, Dependable Camera
I have owned my hp photosmart 735 for about 3 or 4 years and have never once had a problem with it. It was a dependendable and consistant camera. My friends have many other types and have had to go through repairs and problems but not me. Everything that this camera says it does, it does. I have never had to worry about it quiting on me.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good for its price but a few problems
This printer does it job well and is a good 1 or maybe 2 year investment. Personally it did not eat the ink so quick (i actually was amazed how many pages were printed within a year without replacing the original colour cartridges.. and it is i think about 300 pages-for fastdraft and normal options and a small amount of color used). But as the other users said, for some reason it ceased to work after a 2 year usage. I got myself in the situation of it breaking down (one component of the moving cradle snapped). On the other hand, the driver is friendly and helpful. If you have money to spare buy a superior one.

4-0 out of 5 stars It works great for me
I bought this printer my freshman year of college for about $50.I didn't expect much; I just needed something to last me through the year until I could get enough money for another, perhaps better printer than my 6-year-old laser jet.
1-0 out of 5 stars 'Out of Paper' Errors
I picked this printer because I needed a simple and cheap printer. Realizing that it was cheap, I wasn't expecting or asking for much from it. Yet I got so, so much less.
