The best desktop for the money
Just helped a friend buy this machine at J&R.It's just incredible.Not only is it well equipped -- just check the specs! -- but it runs very fast and very quiet.While in store we ran a few of the included applications.I specifically tried out the full version of Adobe Photoshop Elements 2 that comes with the system.The program launched and ran very fast.We opened a couple sample pictures and all the filter effects and transforms we tried were done quickly, much faster than on any other machines.

I bought this system replacing a monster Dell I sent off to college with my son. I thought leaving the comfort of DELL would be uncomfortable, but that lasted as long as it took to set this system up and let it fly!This machine is amazing! I was given a Vaio Laptop a few years ago from a client and that machine has logged thousands of miles of travel and hardship and NEVER stopped working; a true battleship.I thought if the laptop is that good; the desk top has got to be as well. The theory is correct!
Liquid-cooled speed monster! Great for VIDEO and Multimedia!
I have owned one since 11/15/04 and I am very happy with the performance. Although the price is not the most affordable, I think you get your money's worth and then some. Just be sure to take advantage of all the rebates. Now for why I gave this a 5 STAR rating...

Great Machine
I purchased my I mac g5 back in October. It has been working way better than my HP. I have upgraded mine to a GB of ram. It is really fast. No problams. My only complaint is how loud it is. I don't know if that goes for just me or everyone. But overall this is a great computer. The all in one feature is nice, because i don't have to have all of the extra cords. I am switching over to mac now. Way better then windows. I never have to worry about viruses or firewalls.

iMac Wonder
This is probably the best computer for Apple users who want a low priced all-in-one package.This computer is a wonder!I have no idea how I would have managed all my documents, games, and images on something else.Some of the things that I would highlight about this computer:
Almost No Problems
I bought this computer last summer to replace a windows PC, and am very happy with this purchase. It boots quickly, processes quickly, and I've only had one crash, which was solved by simply pressing the power button.

Outstanding Value.
I bought this at the end of July and am most pleased with it. I play a lot of poker and do a lot of word processing and am relieved to find that all the software/delay/shutdown problems I used to have are now definitely things of the past. The RAM is sufficient for just about anything a normal person needs to do; although, I'm not a very normal case as I often have 8 tables of poker, Word, Mozilla, Real Player, and Internet Explorer open at once which makes this item a multi-tasker's dream. With Gateway, I think you get some serious bang for your buck. I went in their bovine direction due to my being disillusioned with Dell and it's worked out for the best. ... Read more
